The whole Vedic Dharma is focused on one goal: MUKTI= Enlightenment.
From our food, to clothing, from spices to the way we dance, from our birth to death, everything in this culture/ Vedic Dharma reminds us to be free from all the cycles of births & rebirths.
It's true that we have our freewill, so we can do what ever we want. Every act/desire has a consequence with it it's attached to more karma... so it never ends...and that's why we are in a circle of continued action- great ones and also suffering.
We have so much freedom, to choose what we want to do, and how we want to do, we also have time.
Then there is only so much time to get out of that circle births.
Birth & Death, and it starts all over... IF WE DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for our soul.
Krishna's birth reminds me so much about Lord Jesus. Both when born- babies born around that-Time
where ordered to be killed. Why? Because Kings, and many other powerful/ corrupt leaders/people were afraid that they could not continue their ways of living, their self centered, sinful lives. Because the truth was that these babies- once grown up would end ignorance- jyotishis (Astrologers) had predicted these. So those peeps were afraid.
Nature works like this from Time to Time great souls are born to clean up darkness and establish TRUTH on earth.
Krishna 's story is one of many many amazing ones- from- before birth and after His passing.
Can't share all- it's a lot -but- for today it's about His one phrase He mentioned to Arjuna on the battlefield of kuru-kshethre
"YogaSta Kuru Karmani"
CH 2 Verse: 48
"Establish yourself inYoga"
..... and then perform your action in the other live.
This is simply the meaning of: Center Yourself in Yoga, and then act.
When we practice transcendental meditation, we dive within our selves. We go to the source of All Possibility, Bliss, Knowledge, Love, Purity, Power, Peace, Truth, Compassion, Kindness, etc. etc.
We enliven these qualities in us, because we all have it all ready. We only need to tap it, the right way.
Once we become one with these qualities it starts to radiate from us, through us, into our:
Thinking, Speech, Acts, Mind, Relationships, Health, etc. etc.
Scientific research shown that practicing TM helps release toxins (STRESS), which block the system.
Our Nervous System should be always clear, clean.
The more we practice this technique, more we are established in Yoga.
Practicing TM, is a form of Yoga.
You are established in your self.
Anyone who is balanced and centered knows that one is happier, healthier, better relationships, clear communications, better focus in life etc etc.
This verse is one of many verses of the Many chapters (18) of the Bhagavat Gita.
The Book opens up with :
Dhritarashtra- the blind King (he was really blind- on many levels), speaking.
Then Sanjaya spoke.
Before all this the Blind King had the Opportunity to see the War between the Pandavas
(The righteous ones) & the Kurus ( his own sons- ignorance ) but he declined to receive this boon to see. The giver of the boon:Guru-Veda Vyasa- at that time.
Then Veda Vyasa gave this beautiful chance/boone to Sanjaya... his luck he got to have the Lord's Darshan later in the Chapters of the Bhagavat Gita, where the Lord shows- His true from to Arjuna....Sanjaya was able to see this MAJESTIC -appearance as well.
Did the blind King take that one chance to see, he wouldn't be only free from blindness, he would also be free from attachment towards his evil sons/ignorance, and he would get to see The Lord of all Lords with his fresh eyes.
Life is full of choices.
Reading the Gita is cleaning our souls:
We all have these attachments, with that we can't work.
Detachment is the way.
Here are all the devils we carry-
Kama-Lust
Krodha- Angar
Lobha-Greed
Moha- Emotional attachments.
This should not be mixed with our duty in life toward our father, mother etc.
Mada-Pride, too much nose in the air!
Matsarya- Jealousy/ envy
As we practice TM- these resolves
.
The beautiful of Vedic Dharma is that everyday is a wonderful day and that we celebrated each day one of the Natural Laws.
By gathering and such as SatSang we are reminded each day that we are powerful, beautiful etc. etc. beings and we can be even more beautiful when we practice TM & Tm Sidhis.
World Peace is in us, waiting to be expressed through us in our:
Relationships, Health, Mind, Thinking, Acts, Giving. etc etc
Hope we all can act by first establishing our selves in Yoga.
Yogasta KuruKarmani.
Have a wonderful Krishna Janmashtami
Namaskar
Jai SRI KRISHNA
Shanti OM
Hari OM
JAI GURU DEVA
